Supposed iPhone 2.0 photos

The folks at iPhon.fr have got what appear to be two photos of iPhone 2.0 in the wild. It's in keeping with the other photo we saw of a black iPhone, though the logo appears grey this time, as opposed to the bright white, and the rear of the case seems less rounded.

The only thing we dislike about this shot is how scratched up the rear of the unit appears to be. My own phone is (I assume) older than this model and not nearly as scratched - and I don't use a case!

Of course, we could be comparing fake photo #1 to fake photo #2 here, so take all of this with a grain of iSalt. We'll all see the real thing soon enough, and we can look back on Photoshop jobs like this and laugh and laugh.

whowahuh

unless apple planned on reducing the size by a good 25%, this looks entirely too small. just take the iphone that you currently have and place it in your hands the way that the picture shows and you'll see that its much smaller than the existing iphone.

This is not necessarily a photoshop fake. It could in fact be one of the many KIRF iPhones out there.

It's a fake.

the fact that the back actually says "iPhone", makes it a fake. Current Apple product do not have their brand names on them in this way.

No offence people, but are you blind?

The separation between the silver aluminium back (with the Apple logo) and the bottom black part is clearly visible behind what is obviously just a scratched dark plastic case protecting what might not even really be an iPhone.

Besides, do you really think el Jobso would tolerate: A/ the Apple logo being so barely visible and B/ a back that scratches so easily? Think about it.

On the other hand, whoever took these pictures must be laughing his/her head off reading our comments.
