Hahlo 3: now out of beta
We at TUAW HQ definitely have an obsession with Twitter. We use Twitterrific for the Mac, and Hahlo for iPhone. Hahlo provides great features in a beautiful, usable user interface. A couple weeks ago we got a sneak peek at the beta of Hahlo 3 (titled "the Legendary Edition"), but now you can try it out for yourself. That's because Hahlo 3 was released to the public today. In addition to a completely revamped UI, the new version integrates full searching capabilities via Summize. To try out Hahlo 3 for yourself, just point Mobile Safari over to http://hahlo.com. It's free and easy to use. If you don't have an iPod touch or iPhone, you can get to Hahlo from any standards-compliant modern browser (Safari 3, Firefox, etc.).

iTouch? What's that?

@Chris: it's shorthand for the iPod touch.

Someone should mention Twinkle. Location based twitter = awesome.

I agree. Twinkle is worth the hype...not so much for a web based app.

Yeah, I thought maybe there would be a downside to Twinkle as compared to MobileTwitter, but it doesn't look like that's the case. Twinkle is freakin' awesome.

I'm a Twinkle user, but for the non JB'd iphones out there Hahlo is definitely a great solution.

I know I shouldn't say anything if I can't say something nice, but I just don't get Twitter. Who the F#@K cares what people are doing all day. Most twitter entries are such worthless drivel. The point is for people to know what others are doing, but I think it is really for people to try to make themselves feel important - as if someone really cares about all the time you wasted making entries about it rather than living it.
