Widget Watch: iPhone 3G Day
It was bound to happen, and Matthew Raskin was the first (to my knowledge) to do it. That's right, Matthew whipped up a widget that counts down to iPhone 3G day: July 11th.That's about all this widget does, but I'm sure lots of people are aching to know exactly how long they have to wait until they can get their hands on a new iPhone.

Is there a way to get this as a webclip or as an app for the current iPhone? Thank you!

The previous WWDC widget had it up to the day. Will there be an update for it to be up to the hour? We all know it's going to launch July 11th ad 6:00PM, so can the widget be changed to reflect that?

how do we know its going to launch at 6p? with each person taking 10 minutes at an ATT store, the line wont finish till early the next day. did apple make any announcement about 6p?

Based on what happened last year. Also, AT&T said that they'll be a process where you can fill out your info the day before to speed stuff up. I expect that to be heavily advertised, especially since Apple and AT&T stores are likely to be shut down for 2 hours. Expect a "slow" line for those that can't think ahead but a speed line for those that bring their info ready to go.
Again, just speculation, but these companies aren't TOTAL idiots. Worse comes to worse, go to an Apple store, you'll probably expect better service there.

I have a question... will we be able to buy the iPhone 3G at the Apple Store Online and activate it on iTunes at home ?

I made a better one that even shows the ad playing in the widget sideways on a 3G iPhone! download here:
