My god we are screwed in NZ. TV was interesting tonight though when Reporter John Campbell SLAMMED Vodafone on live TV regarding their outrageous plans. Check it out - Digg it - Let the world see - Pressure - http://digg.com/apple/Vodafone_NZ_Slaughtered_on_TV_about_Outrageous_iPhone_Plans

The cheapest plan available is $80 a month. Vodafone screws us again. It'd work out cheaper to fly to Australia, buy the unlocked one, and bring it back to use on prepay!

Looks like I will be getting my iPhone from overseas after all :(
(i live in NZ)
Maybe now the whining Canadians will shut up. For a measly 1GB/month of data it's going to cost US$190/month (with 600 minutes and 600 txts). I'd take the Canadian plans over that any day.

July 07 2008 at 8:02 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyboth work equally but you're right it should be an f.
July 07 2008 at 8:05 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyFWIW, the email also said that the iPhone would be available from Vodafone NZ's online store from midnight. It's likely that those would arrive Monday, rather than later on Friday, I would think.
July 07 2008 at 6:07 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMmm, does this mean the person whoever got the new 3G iphone from one of those three stores will be the earliest one got the new 3G iphone geographically?
July 07 2008 at 4:49 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIf I get one in NZ and take the first flight to Hawaii, for how much could I sell it for to a rich Mauian socialite?
