based on paul t's screenshots, if you have exchange or mobileme you can't sync any contacts/calendars from ical/address book via itunes?
that sucks b/c my exchange stuff is all work related. i keep my personal calendar/contacts on my macbook. i like to keep work/personal separate... guess i'll find out once 2.0 is out

I'm guessing it's because Paul is running Vista. I'll bet that on OS X you'll still have the additional option to sync with iCal & Address Book.

BGR is running kinda slow...Gizmondo is much faster at the moment.

Oops, I meant "Gizmodo," not "Gizmondo."

according to this pic:
http://www.winsupersite.com/images/showcase/iphone2_upgrade_exp_beta_07.jpg
the total size of the 2.0 firmware hidden on the iPhone is roughly 200MB more (yes, it does have more features and an entire new app, the AppStore, but still...), leaving you only 7.08GB free, as opposed to the 7.27GB free running the latest 1.x software on my first gen iPhone:

From those pics it looks like they've upgraded the official iPhone paperclip as well.

The charger looks different, too. Hope those prongs still fold down, though.

Damn it. Looks like I'm going to have a buy a new dock as well, thereby adding to the dusty collection of disused docks sitting atop my desk.

Wow, they really reduced the size of that power brick. Impressive! Hopefully Apple will spread that technology across the entire product line.
