Found Footage: iTunes goes even more international
With the introduction of the App Store, iTunes has taken an international leap. It's more internationaler than ever before with new, exciting internationality that ranges from Mexico to Qatar to Israel to Russia. It's internationalpalooza!
If you've been waiting for iTunes to come to your country, if you've been saying "Hmmmm. Could iTunes be even more international?", then it's time to celebrate. Because if Apple has gone through the trouble of setting up marketing in Peru, Poland and Pakistan, likely as not there will be even more store avenues heading down the road to follow the initial App Store launch.
Did App Store make it to your country? Let us know in the comments.

Yey! I live in Costa Rica and now we have an App Store here! No more buying iTunes cards on business trips to the States!
Now if only we could actually get an official iPhone release...

The App Store has made it here (France), but not all the apps. Notably absent are Google Mobile, FriendBook and ZenRoll.

Just got back from speaking with a rep at the Rogers store at Dundas Square, which is opening early for launch day. They apparently received 90 units, though he doesn't know how many of each model. There was no line as of 2:30 p.m. If you're a fellow Torontonian, what time are you planning on going?

Bah. No iTunes at all - no music, no movies, no TV shows; all the stupid iPhone apps only. :(
I guess it's not about a marketing or money conversion, the problem is about publishers and copyright issues. Well, we have an AppStore, because we are going to have iPhones this fall. In fact, it could be everything we'll have for next years. Who says the music and movies must follow?

No iPhone - BUT - after I did the upgrade to iTunes 7.7, it occurred to me there may also be an update for my Apple TV.
Which is downloading right now!

In Brazil we have now the AppStore only... and, having in mind that even Apple is totally perfect, they forgot 2 Brazilian states in the sign up form and they made a huge typo in another one... But for me it's ok, 'cause I live in Sao Paulo, and they happily didn't forget us!
I'm extremely excited about everything else from Apple! I'm waiting for iPhone like a child (like the whole world) and for the MobileMe service.
I want to update my iPhone!!! Guys, you need to jailbreak the new firmware quickly! Please! =]
