iFixit breaks down an iPhone 3G

This isn't the first time iFixit has gotten their hands on Apple gear and took it apart. Previous TUAW coverage here:

What a coincidence - The first thing I did when I bought my lexus was take it to pieces, wish I'd had the bright idea of taking pics as I went..

Nor is this the first time you've made that joke that went something like, "...and they did what any normal geek would do: tore it apart and posted pics on the internet"

"gotten their hands on Apple gear and took it apart."
"Taken it apart", thank you.
This is why the world is suffering. People are using blogs as a primary source of info, and yet the vast majority of blogs have no standard of quality when it comes to spelling or grammar.
I usually don't pick on this. I guess I'm irritable today. Or it's just happened one too many times.

Ah, yes, of course, world hunger, the cure for AIDS, and democracy for all would come about instantly if only blog authors had English Composition degrees and wrote Pulitzer Prize quality posts.
Thank you for pointing that out. I feel much safer knowing the Grammar Police are making blogs safe for all of us.

Maybe someone should come up with a grammar checker. :)

Sorry, to clarify, from the dock cable two of the cables will get RCA jacks and extra cable and connect to the Aux-box. From the fuse-box or somewhere thereabouts you can find 12V power that will charge the iphone/ipod and this gets connected into the dock cable as well. Matt can help you sort it out.

hats off to ipodjuice.com and ifix.com for going through all the effort to get all over the new iphone 3g. Great companies and working hard to get us pictures and information on these new apple products, even though they obviously get some kind of side benefit (attention) from it.

It's all about generating traffic to their sites. More traffic, more ad revenue.
