MobileMe: A First look

We've all awaited the .Mac to MobileMe switch for a while now (some more than others). However, Apple's 6 hour time table for upgrading to MobileMe turned awry and led into an almost 24 hour up, down, up, up, down cycle.

If you're like most users experiencing the 24 outage, then you haven't been able to login and experience MobileMe first hand. So why not take a look at our gallery? We've got pictures of the entire MobileMe suite of web applications and user preferences: from the login screen to storage partitioning.

I am constantly asked to reenter my password for "account verification"

I have now entered it at least 25 times.

I'm bailing out until they get it all figured out and get it right.

You have got to be kidding me......
MobileMe seems actually to be incompatable with the Safari 4 beta.
Really Apple...... A brand new service that is incompatable with your own brand new browser.

Did you notice that the introductionary movie to MobileMe that you can watch when you first login is done with Firefox? Why not with Safari? Strange, at least...

It's working for me, ish.. If I go to System Prefs, and click on the .Mac icon, then Account Details, I get the login screen and it looks like the above from there.

Otherwise, I can't get to it from anywhere else. And still no sign of iPod Touch 2.0 software and its almost midday UK time.
