iPhone 3G unboxing pics: black and white edition
Ameo.com has posted some great unboxing pictures of the iPhone 3G (both the white and the black iPhone 3G gets unboxed). I'm sure the web will soon be flooded with unboxing pictures as people around the world excitedly rip their new phones open, but Ameo's pictures are some of the best unboxing pictures I have ever seen. Head on over to check out what you'll get in the box (note that the pictures are of the Australian iPhone, so the power adapter might look different than what you're used to) and to see a black iPhone 3G compared to a white one.

Still no news of white ones in England, every other country in Europe has them. England gets shafted again!

i agree. Went to an o2 store this morning to confirm, and they've got no idea when the white ones are out. Its really frustrating

Wait, so that power plug looks the same as the one that comes with the existing iPhone ... Is it just the U.S. one that's comes with the newer, smaller power plug? (The one where the prongs don't fold in any more?)

There is a cloth, as mentioned images are still being uploaded.
As for dock, it is not included.

2.0 software update showed up about 8:20 EST in iTunes, installed it, but now the itunes store is stuck so it can't reactivate.... Well at least the battery is charging. Perhaps it will be back up when I get out of the shower..

I was told by an Apple staff person that the new US power adapter will not work outside the country like the old one would. Can anyone confirm?
