iPhone Dev Center is down
Sing with me, boys and girls:
Oh the dev site is down, down, down.
Perhaps the beta is going away
Mayhaps we'll say goodbye to the nda.
Dance and sing and (possibly) rejoice
For the iPhone dev site is down
Okay, yes, that's a really bad set of lyrics. And the tune I'm singing them to is even worse: it's a good thing you can't hear it. Anyway, keep your eyes on the site, which currently says "We'll be right back" and let us know if any of you eagle eyed TUAW readers spots any changes.
(They didn't even give us a yellow sticky for the developer site. Isn't that sad?)
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
Looks like the site is back up. Anyone see anything new?

can anyone confirm that the original iPhone 2.0 update that was released through iTunes today has the same build number as the one leaked yesterday? there was rumor that this may not be the correct build, or be meant only for the 3g iphones. (really bad interface lag and other glitches seemed to indicate this see:Engadget)

Site is back up now and appears to be the same as before except now is a warning to...
"Upgrade Mac OS X, iTunes, and iPhone OS
Before installing iPhone OS 2.0 use Software Update to install Mac OS X v10.5.3 or later and iTunes 7.7. Use iTunes 7.7 to update your devices to iPhone OS 2.0"

on the side where it says download the SDK it no longer says beta 8. Maybe the final version is released. Also it says
Upgrade Mac OS X, iTunes, and iPhone OS
Before installing iPhone OS 2.0 use Software Update to install Mac OS X v10.5.3 or later and iTunes 7.7. Use iTunes 7.7 to update your devices to iPhone OS 2.0

The dev center has new materials now, and no longer references "beta 8" of the iPhone OS, but the SDK still appears to be the same build number as the B8 SDK.

The last SDK I downloaded (beta 7?) was marked as beta in the dmg filename. this the final?
iphone_sdk__5a345.dmg
build: 9M2199a
however, the link path shows: iphone_sdk__beta_8__9m2199

Has apple started accepting international developers ? Anyone from outside the states, please share if you are accepted and if ur apps are on the store. The App Stores are launched (less iTunes store) for many countries, but there seems to be no clear infomation on dev program to those countries.

Anyone else notice that the Touch OS isn't there now?
Do developers still get that version of the OS with the package, or do we have to pay for it on top of the $99 enrollment fee?
(I'm not at my dev computer right now to figure it all out for myself...)

ADC Phone support has no info about iPod Touch Devs going from the last beta to a newer firmware. Also had no info as to if us devs would have to pay the $10 fee. They suggested calling on Monday
