Tip of the Day
To find out what version of Mac OS you are running, go to the Apple logo in the top left corner, click it and choose About This Mac. From that window you will see the version number, processor, memory and chosen startup disk. Clicking Software Update will check for updates, and More Info... will open up an extensive list of everything on your machine.

Hopefully soon, I'm dying for it! Still says error message when I click the "Update" button. Well, at least MobileMe is up and running. :-/

Hey, while you've got the time, put the damn thing behind one of your "Read more" cut tags so it doesn't slow down the entire TUAW front page for the zillion of us who don't care, hm?

Does anyone know if you can now with ver 2.0 have more than 9 screens for your apps? I have already had my 9 pages filled plus some in the Address Book Url's and find I need more and Yes I used Mock Dock as well but I like the screens more. I was hoping they would nearly make it unlimited. Thanks for any reply.

Sure SJ isn't going to be too happy if they can't activate his phone when he gets there :-)

Well, that's aggravating. Got to the store, found out that all locations in the state sold out in pretty much 2 hours, and I can order one... but it'll take 7 to 10 days. I can keep checking back daily and hope that they have one in before then...

I don't get it.
I waited in line 1.5hrs in Oswego IL to be told out of stock. Went to another store and waited another 45mins before being told same thing. I thought this wasn't supposed to be a repeat of iPhone 1? Guess I will just wait a few more days/weeks.

Just had to say my experience at AT&T was very nice. I got to the store in Denver around 5am with 25 in front of me. I was in and out of the store before 8:30 with the last black 16gb. I was told like most to just activate it at home. Overall it only took about 5 minutes to get my phone and I even did a return on a phone I bought a couple weeks a go.
