Philly's new Mayor doesn't want an iPhone

Last year the Mayor of Philadelphia, the city that I call home, made headlines for waiting outside an AT&T store to get one of the first iPhones. There is a new Mayor in town, Michael Nutter, and he has no interest in the iPhone. Mayor Nutter said, "I'm not an iPhone guy. I use a Blackberry. I usually go to the store, walk in and get one."

Philadelphians will rest easier knowing that our mayor isn't sitting outside an AT&T store, though I think Mayor Nutter should give the iPhone a try. He might like it...

It would be one thing if he doing it to oppose AT&T's illegal wiretapping..... which he still could, if he clarified his statement by saying,

"I use a blackberry on CREDO Mobile." But I don't know that that's technically possible.

Sigh.

Look, some people like iphones, some people like blackberries. More power to them. If they are happy with their purchase then what business is it of other people what they buy?

Get over it! Can't we all just agree that we buy what we like and move on? ;p
