PwnageTool 2.0.2 is live

The iPhone-dev team recommends using the built in updater to get the latest version ... "Check for Updates" in your current version of PwnageTool. If you don't have luck with that, there are mirrors posted in the release announcement, along with notes regarding Installer.app/Cydia:
"Installer 4 Beta is included, it is added in any mode by default. The main installer package management interface within PwnageTool isn't enabled yet, and will report that installer.app isn't available, but the actual Installer.app package is added as a default option in both modes."
"The latest Cydia is also enabled by default."
Happy jailbreaking, and the usual disclaimers apply: back up your data, use at your own risk, and remember that Apple does not support software like PwnageTool.
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Having major problems with itunes 7.7 & 7.7.1 after the update. None of my 'cough {k}.ipa's cough' will sync.
And yes I'm installing one "free"app first. Am I the only one?
Thanks Dev Team:)

Works great! I just re-jailbroke my iPod Touch since I updated on accident to 2.0.1 before.

I can't get voice recorder apps to work with this build! Is it just me? Shazam won't tag either..

Cydia does not start for me and the latest backup I had for the iPhone in iTunes was reported as broken and lost all settings.

Anyone having problems should do a fresh install. That fixes it most of the time for me;)

Worked like a charm. Did a fresh install to make sure now old junk is flying around and thanks to "Mobile Me" I still have all my contact, etc. That does make is easier now.

Clarification (2nd try): Does this void your iPhone warranty?
I'd really like to know, you know...

As would I. It seems like a grey area since it isnt unlocking, and only messing with the software.

Yes, it does. But hey, it's just software, so you can go back to the boring state and Apple won't even know.

I´m having troubles going from 1.1.4 --> 2.0.x. Got the first first generation 16gb iPhone jailbroken and unlocked with Ziphone (current baseband reads 04.03.13_G). Tried upgrading with pwnge tool when it first came out but gave up after several attempts all resulting in error 1604 and leaving the phone in restore mode. Basicly I think the problem is my phones baseband but I have no clue how to fix it so I can upgrade. Restoring to 1.1.4 after every failure is also a problem as I only can get back using an old version of iTunes on a windows pc (I´m on a mac) and then running Ziphone/Kiphone/iLiberty (only ones that work for me) to get back to jailbroken unlocked 1.1.4. Anyone here with more knowledge able to help?

Got it working. Thanks anyways...

I updated with a custom firmware and iTunes asked my to restore from previous backup, as usual. And I tried to sync and it asked to restore again, again, again. I just gave up and chose to 'Set up as new iPhone'. However, my settings were still intact.

I had the same problem. All the supported stuff restored, but I had two issues after:
1. Mail was crashing on launch. turned out /var/mobile/Library/Mail was owned by root. Bossprefs has a button to fix that problem which worked fine.
2. All the stuff I'd downloaded with cydia was gone. I had to reinstall it all by hand.
The former was easy, but the latter was annoying and will get more annoying as I install more stuff. Is there a way to back up and restore the packages installed by cydia?
