iPhone-free feed of TUAW
So let's say you can't stand the iPhone. "I can't stand the iPhone!" we hear you shout, repeatedly. Fair enough, Apple's "third platform" can certainly take over the news at times, and the plucky little touchscreen-that-could definitely generates strong opinions. As a gift to those of you tired of everything iPhone, we cooked up an iPhone-free RSS feed for you. Never again will your eyes burn with the news of yet another dice-rolling app, or wacky accessory. One caveat: older iPhone posts might still show up (we're going back in time to fix those as we can), and once in a blue moon an iPhone post might accidentally appear. We apologize in advance for the quasi-cognitive dissonance.
UPDATE: For those of you who want an iPhone-only page, or any other category-specific page, please check out the long list of categories on the right. All those links under "Mac News" on down are category pages. Enjoy!

This sort of attitude is galling. TUAW is not your personal news feed and you're sharing it with thousands of other Apple fans. Personally, I have an iPhone and AppleTV but no Mac. Does that mean I get pissed off when I see something about Mac software or hardware? No. Grow up.

yeah, it's crazy for the blog to cater to it's readers since... they drive in... all the ad revenue.... oops. Well OK, but it's nuts for him to agree to an entry about ... the blog saying .... it wants to cater... Damn. I tried dukrous, but it looks like feedback to blog = sweet, and feedback towards readers and there opinions = galling. Personally speaking ;)

@dukrous
I never once complained about iPhone news. I even read it sometimes even though it doesn't really mean anything to me. I'm just glad to have this option.
Dick.

Is there any chance of an iPhone only version? I have an iPhone and no Macs (yet) :)

Yeah, this isn't a solution. What makes sense is for you folks to do what your sister sites Engadget and Joystiq have done -- diversify -- and create TUAW Mobile for iPhone news. Joystiq split off a Fanboy site for every sad little console out there. Why can't TUAW readers get that kind of love?

Nah, let the users decide with tag filtering. Everyone should be able to make custom feeds based on interests, ala competitor sites like Gizmodo and Lifehacker...

I'd be fine with that too. My ideal is a TUAW with useful iPhone news and an iPhone Fanboy site with an RSS feed so I could scan the noise for the occasional bit of signal.

Ridiculous -- Mac people who say they have no need for/are tired of iPhone news just don't get it. This is the natural progression of technology and the Mac experience so get used to it.

Agreed you are correct, but they used a prime example of why you wouldn't want to know: Dice rolling apps.
Just one small example, I'm sure!
It's a good idea, but I'll still keep my eyes on the iPhone news despite not owning one myself.

I don't have a mac or an iPhone, but i do have an iPod Touch can I just get news for that ;)
I also don't like all the apps for the touch so can I just get the news for the apps that I will like ;)
Thanks in advance.

Iphone is Apple, we should all know about the future of hand held computing. Oh well guess they will be left in the past.

Hallelujah! It's not that I can't stand the iPhone--it's that I DON'T OWN ONE.

Thanks. I was just looking for this the other day.
Now is there a way to browse the full tuaw site without iPhone coverage?

So, the iPhone news was too much, huh. An Apple product on The Unofficial Apple Blog.... really? hmm.
So do you really think this is going to open the door for hundreds of new stories and articles? I'm just waiting for the complaints about the lack of generic Apple news and iPhone news getting all of the new posts.
