Someone help? Please?
I went through Quickpwn 3x, said it was successful, when I put my t-mobile SIM in it didn't work.
Now I figure I'll try Pwnage, but I don't understand this whole bootloader thing. Also, how (and where) does one deselect activate?
Are there any good instructions with troubleshooting solutions anywhere?
I'm really at a loss and frustrated.
Thank you!
I'm curious - now that the app store is up and running, what's the point of jailbreaking? I have an ipod touch, and if there's anything awesome I'm missing out on, I'd like to know. :)

I am unclear how the options stack up between Winpwn, QuickPwn, and the much playa-hated Zibri. I gather that QuickPwn is a theoretically simpler run, but it all seems fairly simple to me.
It would be nice to know where to get the latest versions of everything. iClarified has good tutorials here http://www.iclarified.com/entries/index.php?caid=2&scid=11 , but it isn't clear where to get newer versions if there are any.
Be aware that PwnageTool 2.0.3 contains some bugs breaking Mail, protected WiFi and Passcode Lock features. I maintain a blog post with workarounds until Dev Team releases the announced immediate update.
Find it here:

I confirm that with Pwnage Tool 2.0.3, Wifi password is not memorized and has to be re-entered, Mail keeps asking login and password.

I repeatedly 'lose' my SIM card, and thus, my service. It works fine for a couple days and then, 'No SIM card found'. It was so bad I had to un-pwn. I really hope this fixes the problem, and I really hope to be able to use the software in the future but right now it seems to have some real short-commings.

Thanks
I have just updated my iPhone 3g using pwnageTool 2.0.3. I had the same problem with the keychain, as others have described. Dimpared's comment with simply changing the rights on the keychains directory worked. Everythings running smoothly! I entered the password to my wifi, rebooted my device, and the pass was still there. Thx dimpared, you're the man!

When the winpwn version is widely available, will I be able to perform an update to 2.0.2, without updating the baseband?
Thanks.
Danm! I'm getting the white screen of death... Its not bricked, but it won't restore from the custom firmware... it says it did, but it just goes back into DFU mode and a white screen appears... I can still restore from the official Apple IPSW... too bad...
Help?
Time to update to 2.0.2 :)
