PwnageTool and QuickPwn for 2.1 iPhone's released

Help please. I have a second gen iphone. I somehow killed my sound so had to do a restore which made me have to update firmware. Anyway here is my problem. I ran quickpwn which worked great and unlocked/jailbroke and everything except phone part is working. It isnt connecting to the network. I tried using the pwnage but it kept asking for the binary file and then said it wasn't the right file. Please help me.

quickpwn keeps erasing my imei # and i have to take my phone to apple to get a new one can anyone tell my why im doing what it tells me to

If Cydia and installer are not showing up try going to Settings/General/Restrictions once there enable restrictions and enter passcode. Hit the home button. go back to Settings/General/Restrictions and disable restrictions.

I know this sounds simple, but it worked for me.

Some guy/girl called center_99_99 over at modmyi.com posted this and it did work for me aswell.

The more regular problems with Cydia.app and Installer.app not showing up are well know. I ofcourse mean replace MobileInstallation and remove com.apple.mobile.installation.plist, as you might have read before.

Need help i unlocked my iphone with quickpwn and for some reason i can not use my vodafone sim card as soon as i put it in it tells me to link up with itunes. I can see the phone picks my sim card up but does not work can someone help me or point me in the right dircetion

I am facing the same problem as Tung, after i installed 2.1 on my 2G iphone, i can't access the internet useing edge and the cellular data networks doesn't show on the menues at all, any body has a recommendation.

How Long does it take to jailbreak operation??

I’m getting Application Error when I double click on QuickPwn.exe. am using win xp pro can anyone help???

This is proven to work for sure on 2.1 firmware on windows, have your iphone at 2.1 stock firmware, then use quickpwn to do the work for you.

VERY SIMPLE

Anyone having problems with gmail not pushing emails at all after jailbreaking 2.1 3g? It only loads email when I got back into mail application.

Also why is nobody talking about fring application not working with the 2.1 jailbreak. That is the only reason I ever jailbroke my iphone and it doesn't work.

The Pwnage Tool works Great. These guys are really doing a fantastic job. And they really deserve a lot more credit than they are getting most of the time. Not only do they help by freeing the world from the App Store and allowing use to use 3rd party Apps but they also giving us the choice of using any service provider that we choose. I travel quite a bit for business and I swap sim cards often. Without these guys I wouldn't be able to take my iphone with me without paying horrible roaming charges.
