Rumor: German retailer might have new MacBook Pro

German retailer T-Systems (a division of Deutsche Telekom/T-Mobile, already the iPhone's German carrier) has had images of what it claims is a MacBook Pro for sale, but this model includes a glossy screen with a black border, much like current iMac displays.

The notebooks feature 2.5GHz and 2.6GHz (update: the latter of which has been removed from the site, but we have a cached copy) Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard disk, and an nVidia GF 8600M GT video card. My German is very rusty, but it appears the 2.5GHz laptops are offered with both glossy and matte displays.

If true, it could mean more definite announcements from Apple soon about new laptops on the way.

Thanks, Felix!

For the love of god apple, just make a 12" or 13" Macbook Pro. Please. The 15 is just too big for some people.

This has to be photoshop. It lacks the button to open the display latch. If it is magnetic, it lacks the indentation to open it that both the MacBook and the MacBook Air have.

I thought they might do a black frame on the new macbooks..

Anyway - I don't see any "aggressive" new price points...

Guy's, its a fake. It's missing the sleep light on the front. Even the Air has one. What, is the apple going to pulse when the machine is in sleep mode? Me thinks not.

Where is the 12"?

Seriously, where is it?

I'm happy with the design even though I kind of hoped for something more.

It's def. time for the "old" Blackbook to retire once these babys get out there.

Notice, the site says: "Derzeit nicht lieferbar", that means that they are currently unavailable.

I agree with many of the "they are exactly the same as the current MBP" comments. Nothing new here except poor Photoshop work, which sadly is not really new either.

I really really hope it has the MBA and MB keyboard. I've been waiting for the upgrade to the MBP for over a year, and I just can't say I like the current keyboard.
