PDFpen 4 adds OCR and Word importing
PDFpen comes in two versions, a basic version for editing PDFs and a pro version that also allows you to create editable forms (i.e. forms that can be filled out by users with a PDF reader like Acrobat or Preview). PDFpen is $49.95 (or $99.95 for the pro version). Upgrades for to version 4 from previous version are $25. Demos for both standard and pro are available for download.

I just bought PDFpen 2 weeks ago from the Apple Store. When I checked for updates, I was able to get 4.0 at no charge.

I may give this another go, but version 3 was so insanely buggy for me it was unusable. Textfields suddenly became un-editable, any text box over 50 characters or so crashed the program, and many other such annoyances.

@Mike: That's right. Folks who purchased PDFpen on or after June 1, 2008 get the upgrade at no charge.
