Any idea why the mail and calendar icons are gone now?
Any thought that this implies change with regard to incorporating ActiveSync into Snow Leopard for more native connectivity with the Exchange server environment? Or course, the address book icon is still there...

The icons are still there.

The screenshot had to be cropped for usage -- if you look at the main page, the icons are still there.

Looks somewhat different in Germany: http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/6782/bild1c.png

Seems to borrow a bit from Microsoft's Xbox interface. I wonder if that is intentional.

When I was using Safari 4 yesterday my calendar colors didn't show right (they showed a white see through color). Now they are working fine.

It STILL only has United States, France, Germany & Japan for Address layouts in the Contacts section of me.com
What about address formats for all the other countries Apple sells MobileMe in?
Especially surprising is the lack of United Kingdom support, which has more Apple Stores than every other country excluding the US, combined!

I cannot use MobileMe with Safari 4. Can't use Firefox either, but thought that at least Safari would work.
I can log in, then the dial keeps spinning.

Looks like the page has been updated again, since this article was written. The new design now shows all 6 icons.

Or -- the image accompanying this article was just cropped (which wasn't a good idea). :-)

As I noted above, it was cropped -- unfortunately we have some size restrictions on the images, but I can tell it's causing a lot of confusion.

Hey. Ya know what would be great? If Apple didn't block access to me.com on the iPhone. Then I could at least work-around the stupid omission of iCal todo syncing on the iPhone by accessing the todos on me.com.

Whatev. Maybe Apple should focus on making the whole me.com app not suck so hard. It still has some serious, serious bugs, such as going into the mail section, then when you compose a new message and click 'send,' randomly it will close that window AND reload the parent window, and you've lost what you were writing.
Garbage. MobileMe (the web app) is seriously one of the worst web applications I've come across.

Can they show the mail view for more than thirty seconds without crashing and forcibly reloading the page yet? If I see another "unexpected response" dialog I may have to make a side trip to Cupertino next time I'm on the west coast to give someone on the MobileMe team a piece of my mind…
