WeatherCal adds weather forecasts to iCal
You can add different cities, each of which gets its own iCal calendar and you get forecasts up to 4 days in advance. And since iCal events obviously sync to the iPhone, you can take the forecast with you.
WeatherCal is $10 from Bare Bones Software; a demo version is available for download.

You can do this for free. I've been doing it for a while:
1. Go to Weather Underground: http://www.weatherunderground.com/
2. Enter your zip code or whatever to get your local weather.
3. Right-click on the ical badge (do not click the badge...), then select Copy Link.
4. In iCal, go to Calendar-->Subscribe, then paste the link.
5. Click the Subscribe button in iCal.
Works great, and syncs with iPhone.

Ooo. It syncs to my BlackBerry (via BusySync to Google Calendar to Google Sync, whew!) as well. Great tip, thanks!

Excellent. Thanks for that!

Awesome tip - thanks!

Not quite as pretty (no icons), but it also apparently shows a day further out. And saving $10, though not much, doesn't hurt these days. Thanks for the tip!

Upon further review, WeatherCal is using the same Weather Underground feed. All they've done is add a tiny icon to it and give you a GUI so you don't have to copy/paste the URL. Otherwise, it's identical...since the raw data is coming from the same source.

how do u sync this with the iphone, this calendar appears in the subscription part which doesn't show on mobile me,

Good stuff. Good tip. Thanks a whole lot. I can do without the icons because some icons just can't express the actual forecast.

@Brian - excellent. Thanks. Even better! I can take or leave the icons, but it's nice they have a subscribe link so you don't have to copy/paste the URL.

not 100% sure, i'll have to check, but i think using the weather option in gmail calendar will sync it via caldev to ical.

This, along with Google Cal sync, is one of the features of the forthcoming BusyCal.

Tony's solution above works perfectly for me, but this looks as if it'll be a little prettier... ; )

seems a like a shameless plug for a feature you can obviously do on your own (thanks Tony). Wish I hadn't wasted my time reading this article and gone right to the comments.

I guess that is a cleaver idea. I doubt I will keep this around for long... but, hey, I can get it for free.
Thanks again for pointing out the link. I think saving $10 will be worth the effort of a single copy-paste.

You need to manually sync your iCal through iTunes -- and NOT "over the air" through MobileMe.
