Apple posts iPhone 3G S videos
Apple has posted two new videos on its main page. An iPhone Guided Tour introduces the iPhone 3G S model with all its new features. You'll see how to shoot a video and edit it on your iPhone, make calls and play songs using voice commands, get a preview of the 3.0 Spotlight feature in action, and of course check out that cool new compass.
You can also view the iPhone advertisement that was shown to the keynote participants today. Point your browser to the Ads Gallery page. The spy-influenced ad is presented on the front page of the gallery.

I am just amazed that this has been launched with no tethering support from AT&T. The Apple website includes a note confirming that tethering is not available in America and "other countries".

So I heard that iPod Touch users must pay $9.95 for the OS 3.0 upgrade. So much for the quality experience from Apple.
And no tethering? Happy Blackberry user here.

The charge for iPod touch users is a legal issue as far as I remember. They must charge a nominal fee for updates to it.

That was disappointing. I thought it was going to be example video produced WITH the phone. Maybe a less ambiguous title might help.
