iPhone 3G S update: UPS places hold on shipments

It's 6:45 CDT in Louisville, and the shipment status on UPS still shows my iphone on hold. What gives? I'm in L.A. This better not mean they won't make the flight tonight. Come on Apple, UPS is finished delivering the trucks for today, release the hold on UPS.

Still no shipping info, and there's only 1 day to go. Typical AT&T. :( What's the point of order status if it never updates?

Yeah, I had the hold disappear earlier today. ... But now it's back.

Looks like they removed all the hold stuff from the tracking.

I got an email from Apple about the message. I checked my status at UPS, and it shows I'll be getting mine tomorrow.

I'm hearing from my colleagues that they ordered their phone on the 8th of June and received their ship notification today. I ordered mine on the 9th and haven't received a ship notification yet!! His notification said that it would be here on the 23rd... WTF??? What's the deal Apple?

No tracking info/shipping notice for me yet, either, and I ordered on the 8th. Since I'm taking off of work on Friday to make sure I can sign for the package...I will be less than happy if it doesn't arrive then.

I still have not received shipping notice I ordered on the 8th. I'm starting to worry... I think its weird some people ordered days after me and already have tracking info.

Talked with an international shipping rep at UPS ( 800-782-7892 ). As soon as I mentioned my package was scheduled for delivery on the 18th and now said "receiver requested a hold" she knew I was inquiring about the new iPhone. She said that it was guaranteed by 10:30 AM tomorrow morning. I guess we will see.
