WWDC Demo: Slick Shopper
Slick Shopper is a slick little list app. It does one very specific thing: make shopping lists. In fact, the developer thought through little details such as a location-specific context for your lists. If you're needing things only in your bedroom (perhaps a trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond is in your future?), Slick Shopper will winnow the list down to just those items with a couple of clicks.
While list apps are plentiful on the store, yet again we see a plethora of choices covering niche angles. Now the only problem is not littering your iPhone with list apps -- not to be confused with "to do" apps. Slick Shopper (iTunes link) is currently $.99 on the App Store.

Also take a look at Shopper, looks like it does everything this one does. Nothing like rolling up to a store, having the GPS detect which one you are at, and automatically adjust your list layout for you. One of my most used apps on my phone.

What I'd love to see is a grocery list program that uses 3.0's peer to peer capability to let my wife and me sync our lists. Do any of them do that yet?

Yes. My wife and I use Grocery Gadget for synced shopping lists. Quite often, one of us will be on the way to the store while the other is at home compiling the shopping list. Both iPhones show the same shopping lists updated in real time as changes are made.

Thanks, Gnu. I bought it for both our phones and it looks like it'll work great. The good part about syncing through a web portal is that we can edit lists on the computer. The bad side is that the feature lasts only until the company goes away or decides not to support it any more. But I figure I'll get my ten bucks worth out of the app long before that can happen.

I don't get these shopping list apps. Maybe its just me. Notepad works perfect... jot down your items and go.
