Snood Redood coming to the iPhone

It features the same creature-matching gameplay (with both new and old graphics, as you can see above), which means it probably has the same addictive quality that kept me playing long after I was supposed to have read those excerpts the professor gave to us in English class, and three gameplay modes, including Story, Classic, and even a Time Attack mode. "Coming soon" is the word on when it'll be out, though the main webpage actually says "play now," so it probably isn't that far off. It's not the only "Bust a Move" style game out on the App Store, but it is Snood, and that itself is enough to take me back to the days of pizza and beer in the dorm room.

Snood!
I feel the same way about this classic... While I don't really care for the newer character styles, they aren't hideously retro enough for me, I'll have to get this one as soon as it is on the App Store.

Oh wow is that a blast from the past!!
I think I was actually in MIDDLE school when this game became an addiction, but I can proudly say that it's the only game that my sisters were also hooked on and not just me like usual.
Awesome!

My wife was addicted to this game about 3 years ago. I'm pretty sure that If I get this game, I'll never see my iphone again.

Speaking of which, Taito has hinted that an official Puzzle Bobble (a.k.a. Bust A Move) game is in the works for iPhone:

Heh. I was responsible for the spread of Snood at Brandeis. I was a student IT worker and developed the software installer CD that we gave to every freshman. The usual web browsers, antivirus, and internet utilities.... and tucked deep in the options, an install of Snood...

Oh Man! Snood! I was just thinking about this game the other day- and actually how it would be a prefect iPhone game. I guess the worldmind heard my telepathic pleas.
This used to dominate my past time between classes, parties and general dorm shenanigans back in my freshman year at RISD. Ahhh, those were the days...
