Want to read TUAW on your iPhone? There's an app for that.

I'm not talking about i.tuaw.com, although it still exists (and will continue to evolve -- we hear you!). In fact, I am talking about the TUAW native iPhone app [iTunes link]. It works on iPod touch as well. For a full list of features you can check our TUAW app page here. Or, take a quick tour in the video below.

Thanks to everyone at AOL who made this happen!

Congratulations ! I love it !!

I hope it's not been asked before but a direct email rather than launching Mail would be great (at the same time removing friend@example.com) would be cool too :-)
Thanks!

I would have preferred a more capable web app instead, but that's just me.

The TUAW app is a nice thing to have , nevertheless.

Can you add Read It Later as a share option?

The picture gallery section of the app should include the galleries from the articles.

After using this for a little bit, I'm disappointed that it doesn't pull content that comes after the Read More link. That kind of defeats the purpose since it means that we only get snippets of the articles (especially offline).

Maybe it can be updated to include the full article?

It would also be great to be able to set how many articles it downloads on the Recent screen.

That was a glitch, actually. We got it fixed. You should see full posts, even the "continued" section now.

VNice app, Victor! One question - in the feature list linked to from this article, it mentions support for in-app video. Is that a mistake? When I click on the demo video in this article, it opens up in the iPhone YouTube app.

I honestly hate the iTuaw because i don't know how to get to the full version of the site. I end up just not coming to the site at all

Um, the app version sucks? Most of the fun in TUAW is in the deranged comments threads. Sorry to be harsh but the editorial will never exactly win a Pulitzer.... In the app I can't read the comments (except in a sub-par full page render), let alone post one... I'll stick with the old mobile URL, which lets me access the collective lunacy... And post to it too...

My suggestions:

Change the default "background" color from grey to white. It's distracting when reaching the bottom of the screen.

Allow us to view comments without launching the embedded browser. Posting new comments would be even better.

I like how you can easily go from one article to the next article without having to navigate backwards.
