DIY DSLR iPhone

If you're not a tinkerer at heart, you'll probably wonder why he bothered to produce an item as large as a standard DSLR but took worse photos. Looks like someone needs to find better use of their time. If you want to take professional photos you don't use an iPhone. That's embarrassing

TUAW finally jumps the shark in my mind, with perhaps the most ridiculous re-quoting of a stupid hack I've read in recent memories.
Absolutely pointless exercise in geekdom.
For a second I thought I understood the point of this article, but then a fly landed on my shoulder, and I quickly became distracted. Perhaps some one can explain?

That said - while this is Interesting, I'll give you that, I just don't see the point.
