Video of today's Apple event is now available

Apple has posted QuickTime streams of its "Latest Creation" keynote on their webpage, just in case you missed all the festivities earlier today. That latest creation, as we many had speculated, turned out to be the iPad. So you can watch Steve sit in a cushioned chair and browse the Internet (along with all of the demos from participating developers) with your own eyes. The streams, available in low, medium, and high bandwidth flavors, can be found here.

And if the keynote stream doesn't completely pad up your iPad appetite, check out TUAW's iPad page, a portal for all things iPad. If you see anything in the stream that we missed, definitely let us know.

Does anyone know if the iPad keyboard dock would work with the iPhone?

Yo Dawg we heard you like presentations so we put a presentation in your presentation so you can waste time while you waste time.

Anyone else notice that the Apple docking station has the iPad in portrait mode but Keynote appears to only work in landscape mode? (see Schiller's section of the presentation - time code 1:00:10)

Maybe it's designed to use while lying on the desk?

A massive ho-hummer. The list of things it can't do is longer than what it can. An iPhone that can't make phone calls? LOL!

This announcement is right up there with the AppleTV - dull and duller...

That picture is HILARIOUS. It looks like his hands are teeny tiny and his head is ginormous.

Funny that. My first reaction was it's nearly as big as his head.

Any idea when to expect the video in the "Apple Keynotes" podcast? I've never really had good luck with the streams, and apparently today is no exception (i.e. when I pause the stream I can't restart it, etc).

Never mind, it's available now. That was pretty quick.
