This is not worth updating and re-jailbreaking, but I suppose for users who are having these issues, they'll be happy.

Man, it really takes Apple a long ass time to fix iPhone OS bugs. I had horrendous battery life following the .2 update and even spoke with Apple engineers about it. Guess they finally got around to fixing it...

Yeah, that's pretty weak. At least add one new feature to make it worth our while.

It does seem to have fixed the stuttering scrolling in the podcast listing on my 3G, at least partially. It still isn't 100% smooth, but it is dramatically better than it was before.

I hope this fixes the jittery podcast scrolling. That drives me bananas.

Ugh... I fail at replying on TUAW. My reply to spiceweasel's comment was obviously supposed to be in response to this.

Not any better here. I hear ya on the scrolling. I thought it was just because I have like 10 GB in podcasts, but I guess I'm not alone

It doesn't fix it. Jittery podcast scrolling was my welcome to the v3.x firmware world. I want out.

Any word on the issue with 3rd party vehicle adapters, like SYNC. It worked perfectly up to 3.0. 3.1 killed it.

I too, would like to hear something about this!

That's it??? C'mon, Apple, please tell me a few more things have been fixed.

My smart playlists used to just be out of order. Now, this update broke them completely. All my playlists show up as empty on my 3GS. Awesome.

(Have not upgrade to this new firmware until get home tonight)
I have the empty playlist problem as well. I have to resync and resync and sometime still won't load. I notice reduce number of apps, do not fill the iPhone as much (give more room), and "uncheck then sync and recheck then sync again" the videos help a little.
Restore does not help at all for sure and waste of time. iTunes hung constantly (never "crash" though, just hung).
Piece of crap!

This one's not worth the trouble, I think. 3.1.2 works perfectly fine for me, thank you very much.

Amen to that. I am quite satisfied with 3.1.2, and I don't need anything more.

Any Ronnie-Reloaders know if BlackRa1n is compatible with 3.1.3 ?
