Found Footage: One designer's vision of an iPhone 4G

Before the original iPhone and iPad appeared, TUAW and other blogs were inundated with mockups of what the devices could look like. Some of them were hastily thrown-together Photoshop mashups, while others were beautifully-rendered depictions.

Antonio De Rosa of ADR Studio has created his own vision of what the next-generation iPhone could look like. In both the short video seen above and the individual renderings displayed on the ADR Studio website, De Rosa shows a thinner device with an aluminum shell and stand, AMOLED screen, and a "frontal camera."

Of course, this design could be as far off as some of the impressive mockups that were developed for the iPad, but we appreciate De Rosa's detailed work and beautiful design sense.

Hi to all.
I obviously accepted the fact so many have criticized, although I must say someone (thankfully few people) has lack education.

If i realize these things it's essentially for one reason: passion.
And if someone can visit my work, my agency, my website is just one more satisfaction for my job.

I do this for a living and I think I do it with dignity, without offending anyone. We can discuss a lot about "design". Maybe my work is not "design". Maybe for someone my work is a bad work. Well done, i'm open to improve myself trough every comment to my work.

For this I heard the criticism and tried to improve the concept, rounded shapes, "improving" the operating system, correcting some mistakes.

My job is not to be "absolute". I'm an Apple fan like the others, and i use my work to give shape to small dreams:)
This is a tribute to an icon of technology that has radically changed the understanding of mobile communication.
That's all folks. I'm imagining new gadgets, new scenarios for this remarkable device, which I hope to show you soon.

I sincerely hope that my work will please you.

Well executed, but it's actually a relatively bland design, it's very similar to current phones on the market. I doubt Jonathan Ive would make that.

Sean, thx for your answer above. I just lost my iPhone and T-Mobile (in Germany) wants me to pay starting from 530Euro for the new one, so I wanted to know if its worth to just wait for a new one. June is pretty close :)

well, if it was like last year, they wont hit the market until after July. I'm just guessing here. I would assume they will come out with a new one. Faster chip (A4 maybe). Front facing camera! Ohhh, all this iphone talk is making me feel a bit dirty! Anyhow, don't take my word on it...... But if the next gen. iphone looks anything like this mock-up, I'll switch back to the good ol' can & string.

The shape looks a lot like the competition. It's not something that we would see coming from Apple.

Good grief people, it's not THAT bad. It's a hell of a lot better than any of the SPINNING 3D RENDERED iPhone prototypes that you lot of knuckleheads lifted one finger to make, which is to say, ZERO.

Regardless of the pros and cons of the actual mockup, I think the video was put together quite nicely—I like how the lighting glides over the phone.
