The tech sites Steve Jobs reads
Ever wonder what tech sites Steve Jobs reads? Well, according to Silicon Alley Insider some of those sites are our very own sister site Engadget, along with Gizmodo, The New York Times Tech section, and the Wall Street Journal.SAI's source was in one of the meetings with Jobs when he visited Manhattan on his media tour with the iPad in February and he clearly saw those four sites bookmarked in Safari on Steve's iPad.
The source did say that Steve had other sites bookmarked, but the ones listed above were the only ones that stuck in the source's mind. Here's hoping that one of the other ones was The Unofficial Apple Weblog.

Anyway, I read you guys. Great job
TUAW is fine, but for tech-news, Engy has ya'll beat. You end up posting the same Apple related stories days after Engadget and Giz do.
TUAW's saving grace are the app and proggy reviews you do.
Also of note, Mr Jobs has a typical dolichocephalic skull and five fingers on each hands.
I wonder what machine he commonly use?

March 18 2010 at 4:52 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyExactly; I bet he wants to know what people are saying about his creations. Obviously if they say good things, he wants to hear them. But again, if they say bad things he also wants to know as well so that he can do something about it. As does any creator. Why do film makers let the public comment on their Youtube videos? Why do bloggers have comment sections for each post? Why do people put email links on their websites?
In regards to the people saying Steve Jobs doesn't read TUAW, that may be true but a lot of people at Apple do and it wouldn't strike me odd if El Jobso himself does as well (And if Engadge's there, it's likely. TUAW is referenced every now and then in their Apple-related posts; it's how I found the site many years ago.)
No chance he reads TUAW, sorry!
