Have an iPad reservation? Your "pick up" email has arrived

Got my letter too. What I did do is make a business appointment for 9am that morning, so I can meet with a biz consultant, and have them explain how I can use the iPad for biz (really already know...) and at that point, let them know I had one on rsvp. No line for me. Go see if there is any slots open at your apple store.

I got my email and was actually able to call my local store to reconfirm the reservation. In fact, I was lucky enough to have the store manager change my reservation from a 32 gig model to 64 gig.

Any idea when "Late April" will be for the 3G version?

At first I ordered the 64G model and then changed my mind, cancelled and ordered the 32G version which will be enough for me.

My email today says I have 1 of each waiting for me.

So I'm guessing that they are having issues with the order department.

I'll just grab one of the two and be done with it.

For everyone with a UPS delivery of iPad - It's official guys...
"UPS will NOT be delivering iPad on Saturday April 3rd ! "

I just got off the phone with Joel at "Apple Customer Support"...

We will be getting it the following Monday, the delivery will be held over until then and I should have checked "UPS Deliveries in my area" ! (interesting as I didn't know THEY would be choosing UPS).

Also, in my case I paid the extra $14 "Expedited Delivery Charge" ! Joel told me "that this would be refunded to me... and that they were very sorry".

Very poor show Apple !

I'd be very interested to know how many thousands of iPad buyers are affected by this one ? lots of ticked off people on Saturday April 3rd I would think ! ?

Currently my iPad is sitting at my local UPS depot gathering dust ! it arrived there at 9am on Tuesday March 30th !

How many of you out there affected by this one ?

I thought i didn't receive the email, it was in my spam box..

I hope they are actually holding one for me. I have to drive 3 hours (each way) to pick it up. I'd hate to get there and find it wasn't there for some reason.
