Some Apple Specialist locations will have iPads

A few days ago, we listed three ways you can score an iPad on Saturday if you didn't reserve one. Namely, see if your local Best Buy will have any (just 15 per store, and not every store), hang around an Apple Store and count on a no-show, or buy one from a customer on launch day. Now we can add a fourth: check your local Apple Specialist location.

According to AppleInsider, several Apple Specialist locations will be selling iPads, though exactly which ones is a mystery. The resellers are supposedly under a non-disclosure agreement, preventing them from advertising the iPads before the official release.

So, what's a geek in need to do? Give your local shop a call and see what they say (though the NDA might prevent them from speaking the truth). If you're "in" with staff, you might get a confirmation in a "between you, me and the lamp post" kind of way.

In any case, good luck! Though we suspect you'll be waiting until April 12th at this point.
