I just want to know if the Digital Zoom works on the Video camera as well as the still camera..

When plugging into the USB port, it will recognize the device and then show to be charging for a few seconds. If I select USB from the input screen on the car, it says USB device not found and stops charging. I have tried two different cables with the same results.
