Found footage: Windows 95 running on an iPad

Do you remember staring at your computer back in 1995 and wishing you could run your new copy of Windows 95 on a futuristic slate-like device with multitouch capabilities? No? Me neither.

That didn't stop the devs at KamaGames from figuring out how to run the OS on an iPad (they did it using a BOCHS emulator). So settle back, put your Alanis Morrisette CD on the stereo, and relive the glory days of the mid-Nineties in the video above!

Awww! we were hoping at the end to see the screen freeze up and maybe a "reboot" message.

It's kinda like dropping a Ford Focus engine into a Corvette. Sure, it's an achievement to do but why would anyone want to? I ran from Windozz. Why return to it's past?

What, no BSoD? Give me that and it will truly take me back to Win95.

keyboard / multitouch could be functions of the emulator, which would further speak to the performance - emulator is serving as an abstraction layer for all processing and input

This looks extremely fake to me. first off 95 was written for a keyboard and mouse? how is it recognizing multi touch?

Not only that, but the onscreen keyboard doesn't do Ctrl-Alt-Delete -- how are you supposed to get by in Win 95 without that?
