Guy uses iPad to pop the question

We've seen other geeky marriage proposals in the past, but it's always nice to be the first before the schtick gets old.

TechCrunch reader Zach used his iPad to ask his girlfriend to marry him. Zach sat his girlfriend down on a bench, where he had asked her out two and a half years earlier, and whipped out his iPad. He told her to put the earbuds on, and then he played a slideshow with music and photos of the two of them together. There was laughter, there were tears; then there was the last slide. Does anyone have a guess as to what it said? That's right! "Will you marry me?"

From the photo, you can see what the answer was.

For those of you keeping track, we've seen: So, there are still entire Apple product lines that have yet to be used for this purpose! Get proposing!

I agree with Tim: what ever happened to actually talking to people? He thinks this is romantic? Guess cyber sex is his way to go also. Come on men get a grip. Women actually like to be spoken to and hear those words come out of your mouth. I can't think of another revolting way to ask a woman to marry you, oh yea I forgot..... hey you wanna do it? But I guess if she said yes she knows what she's getting herself into. GOOD LUCK

I faked a heart attack. While she stood over me screaming for help on the A.C boardwalk I rolled over and poped the question. Thank G-d she said yes.

I bought my wife (girl friend at the time) a digital picture frame a few years back and loaded it with a slide show with photos and words proposing to her. I gave it for our early Christmas present before going to our families. The look on her face when she saw I got a picture frame (& not a ring) was priceless. I had to tell her to turn it on, she really didn't want to touch it. But when she saw the slide show and the ring it all worked out.
