Chitika labs estimates that over one million iPads have been sold

yes, i see the lack of flash, multitasking (oh yeah, that's coming soonish) and no camera are really holding this thing back :)

i can't believe i'm still reading tech reviews talking about these things as if they are an issue for most users.

can't wait for them to finally arrive internationally. Apple are laughing, again, at all the nay sayers.

and the competition? well if they are like touch phone manufacturers, they are going to be playing catch up for a long time and still not succeeding.

did you see how much money Apple make from non-PC items? in three short years they make more from iPhones than the whole Apple business. iPod sales are even huger. and Mac sales are definitely incerasing as more people buy into the Apple environment. Microsoft had it good for too long. Their advances haven't targeted the average person. Apple have. And look who's winning the wallet war?

Their 5th Ave Store was all out of iPads this morning too.

All they had were reserves apparently.

I didn't think it was doing that well. I had a feeling Apple might have been lying when they said they were surprised by the number but I guess I was wrong.

This is excellent news for Apple. Really happy to see the iPad doing so well, especially when I originally thought it was going to be a flop with the masses.

As a shareholder I'm very happy to be completely wrong.

I can see that - stopped in the Apple store in Littleton, CO today - no iPads - also none at Cherry Creek, CO or Park Meadows - these things are selling and selling fast....

Sorry that's round the pole circumference, a tax smaller round the equator... As Dab says though, that's a lot of ipad's!!!

Also end to end they would stretch 6.12 times around the equator!!!

By my calculations, this many iPads would roughly cover 8.6 American football fields.

That's a lot of iPads.

they count cookies AND distribute delicious bananas!

hopefully this number is accurate. more demand = more developers that fill in the gaps of the iPads shortcomings.
