Chat live during the iPad 3G release

Is the Ipad 3g+wifi unlocked? I mean can I buy it in the US now and bring it home with me so when they launch international I can Activated in my Country? Just by Inserting the new microSim from the cellular data provider that apple chose in my Country?

Got mine by Fed Ex. So far, the wireless keyboard is mandatory. Don't be a fool and buy the ipad keyboard dock - it won't work when the ipad is in the Apple sleeve - and it's a major pain to remove the ipad from the sleeve.

Received my 3G iPad this afternoon at 3:00PM EST and was able to activate the 3G data account easily and pain free. The iPad works rather quickly over the network and very much like the iPhone can get reasonable speeds. I love it because now I'm not restricted to where I can use my iPad and can truly be a mobile user. This is the go between from my laptop and iPhone. Now I don't have to lug my Macbook around with a USB data card to do simple Internet, email, and video watching.

Waiting for the 3G version was so well worth the wait.

Am at Best Buy in Irvine. They will have only 5 64GB available at 5pm. Only 2 of us in line

Here's hoping that TUAW offer this chat when us International readers get our iPads and not just doing this for the US. We might be able to read all about it between now and whenever Apple lets everyone else out the US try it, but it would sure be nice to have this to ask questions when we get ours!
