iPhone 4 arriving early for some

Apple notes that while FedEx may still list the 24th as your delivery date, customers should check the FedEx site on the morning of the 23rd to see if their iPhone 4 is out for delivery.

If your new iPhone does indeed arrive on the 23rd, please let us know.

Just got mine here on the 23rd around 2pm in Pennsylvania.

Just got mine here in Philadelphia, PA. Fedex tracking still says at sorting facility, but site states: "Package deliveries are proceeding as normal; however tracking updates are temporarily being delayed. Please try back later. "

My iPhone showed up around 10am this morning. About 2 hours after activating it I got an email from AT&T:

"We hope you're enjoying your new iPhone 3GS" [sic]

yes Lots of lucky guy are getting iphone 4 on Wednesday morning before 10.30 am.

NO way is apple or At&t for that matter going to release those phones early. Although it would be a good idea because the AT&T & Apple activation servers are sure to overload and crash. I can already see the TUAW Headline. Activation Servers Crash due to High Volumes of Traffic. This happens every year with a new release. I'd say I'm 99.146% sure everyone will have to wait until Thursday to unbox their new iphones. OH by the way mine is due to arrive Thursday calmly waiting for me to pick it up. Good luck everyone

You must have missed the fact that Apple has already been sending out emails to customers saying that if their delivery date says the 23rd, then it will be the 23rd. Apple confirmed it themselves.

I received this same email from Apple this morning (June 22), and then my new iPhone 4 arrived about 9:30 AM. I've transferred everything and I'm up and running on the new phone!

My tracking details just refreshed - ordered through AT&T website. FedEx confirmed delivery for tomorrow before 3pm.

Lawn Chair + Cooler full of Sam Adams Summer Ale in front of my front door all day tomorrow. It'll be like I'm at the front of the line at my very own Apple Store, but without the disapproving stares of other adults walking past on their way to Sears.

I ordered at 12:51PM chicago time on June 15. I just got off the phone with AT&T and they said it will ship to me in next day or two. I'm definately NOT backordered.

Now I'm just waiting for that "your order has shipped" email ;)

Ordered @ noon on 6/15, shows order date of 6/16/10 and "In Progress"...no tracking number. Grrr.
