Found Footage: Darth Vader calls Apple Support

The idea of connecting Darth Vader and the iPhone 4 has become a meme. Videos abound on the topic, like the ones found here, here, here, and even here. The newest one comes from Russell Arch. It has its moments, especially the idea of the Death Star being run on a first generation iMac and OS 9. Take a look and see what you think.

That was hella funny. The crappy Darth Vader impersonation makes it more funny.

Really funny? You sure? Humorous at most. Nice animation. Nice scripted but not exactly funny. Who are AT&T anyway. Now that is funny.

Without even an attempt at matching Darth Vader's voice, this is just painful to watch. Not as funny as it could be.

I like the AT&T planet haha. Good for a chuckle... though regarding his statement on the Android and iPhone issues:

The difference between the iPhone 4 and the EVO, Droid X, ect, is the simple fact that HTC and Motorola admitted their problems and happily fixed them, if they existed, for the user. What ticks me off about Steve Jobs is his horrible attitude towards the customer. Apple used to be the one computer/gadget company that seemed to care (besides Nintendo of old, yet another company that's lost it's way this generation) and went out of their way for you. Now they just make excuses for poor hardware. I was personally insulted when they told me to not hold it in a manor that was displayed many times in their own conference. Sure I've had faulty macs in the past with a number of issues, but they admitted them and fixed them without any finger pointing. Why is that so hard to do with the iPhone?

I love mac, and I could never own a PC. But I can safely say, my switch to an EVO was the best thing I could have done. The operating system is astounding and the product and it's company are more like the Apple I grew to love than Apple themselves right now.

I don't know why Darth Vader would have a problem with the iPhone (I bet he has a "Stormtooper White" one too) IF he holds it with Force he should have awsome reception... (how does he use the Force on a touchscreen)

I am curious how the Dark Side interacts with the Apple Reality Distortion Field.. that may be the root of his problems.

You're misunderstanding things... midichlorians, as a general social group, are Windows fans. Thus anytime someone tries to use the force in an positive relation to OS X or iOS, the midichlorians refuse to do their job so Vader is as screwed as the rest of us.

The midichlorians' love for Windows also explains why it's so easy for Jedis to go to the Dark Side...

Not as funny as the other iPhone video but this one was cute. If you haven't seen the other one, nothing if funnier than this one.

Saw that this morning haha. The fact that he got away makes it even more awesome. He needed it to pay for his tethering.

Ahaha. LOVE IT. That was actually pretty funny. Love the digs at AT&T, Moto, HTC, etc as well. Welcome to 2010, where somehow no cell phone company can do anything right!
