New iPad TV ad highlights various apps
A new iPad TV ad started airing in the US this week. It begins with the statement "IPad is..." before moving through several adjectives and related apps. For example, a brief appearance by The Photo Cookbook is followed by "delicious." Flipboard is followed by "current," and so on.One interesting tidbit is that when Twitter is shown (followed by "friendly"), the ad shows a close crop of twitter.com. Presumably this is because there's still no official Twitter app for the iPad ("Twitter," formerly Tweetie, is for the iPhone and not a universal app).
It's a clever spot that shows off some quality apps while answering the common question, "But what is it for?"
