Doodle Jump gets a Retina Display update

Pusenjak also told us that after the water-related content was done and out, the iPad version of the app would be next up for development, so we'll keep an eye out for news on that soon. Good to see that just because this little game is so popular, its developers aren't taking success lying down.

The underwater theme has already been released in a previous update.

My second comment is bemusement over commentors complaining about a 99 cent app that is frankly pretty fun, and gives away new goodies regularly.
My third comment is to observe that I think TUAW is a nice little blog for the Apple aficionado, but that most of the readers who bother to leave comments are mean-spirited crybabies. I mean, Jeez, people, get a life already. If you hate this blog so much, do us all a favor and go read something else. Maybe start your own damn blog since you know better. Best of luck to you.
Scott-- I agree. It's weird that the writers have such a simple, friendly approach, but so many of the comments are effortfully negative. I think there is a bit of a bullying culture that has developed among the commentators. I hope it stops, because the writers of this blog are doing a good job at exactly what they do.

I really miss the days when TUAW was timely.
Finally, now where's my Angry Birds update!?

August 21 2010 at 9:20 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI agree 100%. I really don't understand why people think this game is any fun. I was totally bored with it after 5 minutes. I kept waiting for the game to do something different.
