Twitter for iOS gets push notifications, bug fixes, UI enhancements
There's an update to the official Twitter app for iOS. The new version 3.2 adds push notifications, so you can be pinged whenever someone mentions your Twitter handle, and also adds full support for iOS 4.2.
On the iPad, there are UI improvements that include panel animation and a dismiss feature. You can manage saved searches, and media can now be viewed inline.
The iPhone client provides additional Retina Display graphics, geotagging with just one tap, and improved display of shortened URLs.
Twitter for iOS remains free -- you can download it right now on the App Store.

I started a website recently and purchased 10,000 Twitter followers from www.socialkik.com for our Twitter page and the results were amazing! We passed all our competitors when it comes to the number of Twitter followers... some competitors have been in business since 1999, but now we have 30 times more followers than them on Twitter, which made it seem that We've been in business much longer than them !
Sadly the Twitter iPad UI still blows. Thankfully the Twitter website works decent on the iPad.

The bird is slightly bigger, as is it's wing.
Yes. The wing looks better, imo.
Wait? They just now got push notifications? Yet another reason that I've been happy using Echofon Pro for ages. Twitter had a major failure when they chose to purchase Tweetie instead of going after one of the good iPhone Twitter clients.

November 16 2010 at 9:20 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIt looks like you can't view twitlonger posts inside the tweet anymore. It just opens the in-app browser now. :/

Until they work this out, I'm gonna keep using Boxcar for full timeline, lists, searches and trends notifications.
