Howard Stern/SiriusXM deal brings Stern Show to iOS

Yes, the rumor of an Apple deal was false, but a new agreement between Howard and Sirius/XM will bring the Stern Show show to the company's iOS app for the first time.

Sirius subscribers can use the free SiriusXM Premium Online app with their subscriptions. It allows you to stream nearly all of the network's channels. Last year there was a mild uproar from subscribers who discovered that several of the network's key features, like the Stern Show, the NFL and MLB were excluded from the iPhone app. Details on the new arrangement with Stern are scare, but his contract is set to renew in January, so we expect to have his show on our iPhones by then.

In short, Howard is coming to your iPhone, but not as we initially heard.

Sadly william it is people such as yourself that haven't an inkling of who Howard Stern is.. That is because of one of the two simple reasons such as you haven't a clue{and therefor really no right to give an opinion}, especially not a negative opinion when you have absolute no basis for such because you do not listen to Howard Stern's broadcasts{and sorry but hearing a few snips provided thru various media over the years hardly count} but rather when you have listened with a mindset that is open and not clouded and predetermined mindset to hate no matter what you actually hear in his broadcast...only then do you have the right to speak of Howard Stern and exactly just who and what he truly is..

Or secondly you, yourself are exactly what and who you claimed ^above^ that Howard Stern was{e.g. "piece of white trash" that shouldn't be allowed to breathe our air}.. In other words projecting your poor self image and the trash that you feel inside that you truly are..

Either way your opinion and those similar in basis and nature are irrelevant..For one reason.. you have not heard Howard Sterns broadcasts in the 5 yrs that he has been at Sirius..so, you are not qualified to even have an opinion of him or his content..good or bad opinion, you just do not..plain and simple..

Or another reason.. that what negative, resentful, and hateful opinion you above voiced is only a projecting of ones self and exactly what he feels and thinks of himself...

As I said either one the result remains the same and quite simple you are not qualified and your opinion is irrelevant.. Before you spew your inner self hatred all over these world wide websites and completely misdirecting your anger and jealousy get a really good, factual basis before you choose to spew that crap on innocent, intelligent people that unfortunately have stumble upon your "white trash rantings"

It is that very ignorance of which your comments are derived from that continues to plague this country when it sure could be a helluva more pleasant world without the likes of people such as yourself, william

Ugh, gross. There's a large reason my family went with XM over Sirius to begin with. Now with the merger, I can't believe our money is contributing to paying this jack@$$ even more money. I can't believe people listen to this douchebag.

I be in the back of a news van...

Along with Pocket Tunes is Wunder Radio. I've been listing to Howard on my iPod Touch for years using WR. Now Sirius just needs to beef up the Sirius App and we'll all be in business.

Pocket Tunes is fine, but it's finicky for me, especially when I lose network connection for a few seconds when commuting. I'm looking forward to using the Sirius XM app in hopes of it doing a better job at reconnecting when I lose my 3G signal, or when transitioning from wifi to 3G when I leave the house or office.

The app is free, but it's not going to work unless you're paying the extra $3 per month for online listening.
