TUAW Poll: Will you buy the Verizon iPhone?

Now that the cat's out of the bag, here at TUAW we're wondering how AT&T will answer to Verizon's iPhone announcement -- specifically the part where the iPhone 4 will be a mobile hotspot that supports up to 5 devices. It's definitely an extra incentive to lure AT&T customers, already unhappy with tiered data plans and extra costs for tethering.

When the Verizon iPhone makes its debut on February 10, will you be among those in line to get it?

I won't be changing my ATT iPhone for the Verizon version; where I live and go to most, voice service is at par and ATT data is faster. However, if there is a true unlimited data plan, I'd consider swapping my long-out-of-contract Verizon aircard for one.

Funny that Verizon "Can ya hear me now?" has NO coverage at my work site where both T-Mo and AT&T have full-strength signals. So, no, I won't.

I am intrigued by the hotspot feature. If AT&T decides to offer it I'll stay. If not, I'm moving to Verizon.

Where's the option for "I don't mind switching from AT&T, but would never touch Verizon with a ten-foot pole?"

Lovely Big Red cut me off my pre-pay account and gave my number to someone else without my knowledge, then told me the deal was done they could do nothing and tried to up-sell me to an expensive monthly plan with a s*** Verizon smartphone.

Go pound sand, Verizon... I'd rather use TrackFone (god forbid) than give you guys my money. At least Big Blue has good customer service.

95% of the people I talk to are on ATT. I pretty much talk for free. Why would I mess up all my rollover minutes by switching to VZW?

I'm in the need more info group right now. I am not familiar with Verizon's plans but I doubt they compare to the plan we have with Sprint right now. That Any Mobile Anytime stuff really gutted our monthly phone bill. Would love an iPhone otherwise.
