Verizon confirms iPhone pre-orders for 3 AM on February 3

Details on the purchasing process are not provided, but you will most likely have to log into your My Verizon account to confirm your eligibility as a Verizon Wireless customer. If you do not have a My Verizon account, you may want to sign up for one beforehand. You don't want to miss the pre-order because you were fumbling with the account setup. The quantity of iPhones available for Verizon's customers in this pre-order is limited, so you better get your game face on and prepare to do some early morning ordering.

I would totally do this pre-order, but they're going to ship FedEx, which always wants a signature on delivery, which always leads to a days-long ordeal trying to retrieve a package from them.
Now I'm annoyed because I have to wait the extra week.
what's with the west coast advantage btw? I mean, that's a school night, and it kick's off at 12am (3am EDT). BAAAAAHHHHH!!!

January 28 2011 at 10:27 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe My Verizon account doesn't exist until you register for it, even if you're a Verizon customer. You wouldn't pre-sign as a Verizon customer, but pre-register for your My Verizon account.
Most average customers probably don't have an account. You really only need it if you want to buy a phone at Verizon's online store, which is almost always a bad idea.
Really??
The Verizon iPhone has two significant advantages over its AT&T brethren: unlimited data and a mobile hotspot. Now there's a rumor that at least one of those shortcomings on the AT&T version will be addressed in a future iOS update, 4.3.
If it is not rumors. I'll get an verizon iphone as well as iFunia iphone video converter.
If you are a movie lover, You'll do the same things as me.
I have unlimited data with ATT since July '09............

That's historically how telecom companies operate. If you are an existing customer they already have you and your money, they don't need to do anything to keep you.
