White iPhone price ticket reportedly shows up at Best Buy
Engadget has shared pictures of what appears to be a Best Buy price tag for a white iPhone. The gadget has been more elusive than Herman Melville's great whale since its pseudo-introduction last year. It's been delayed for months now, with rumors identifying everything from the paint to the flash to the manufacturing process as the culprit.
Engadget notes that The Source (Canadian version of Radio Shack) is also preparing to stock the device.
I used QR Code Reader for iPhone on that QR code, but it just produced an error page.
Soon, shoppers. Soon.

I'm sorry but that SKU that is under the name of the item is an old SKU...at least 7-8 months old...and the fact that the name info of the product and the description is not there...that tells me that this SKU was made for the white iPhone 4 back when it was suppose to come out...and when it didnât it never got updated...not to mention it was printed on 1/17...somebody at a Best Buy was looking thru the inventory system and found the sku that never got used...and printed it to mess with you guys
besides that is a normal product price tag and not a mobile price tag...so this is totally a fake to screw with you guys...sorry...I want the white iPhone 4 to be here as well...well not any more cuz I'm just going to wait for the 5 at this point...but it's just not here yet...keep your panties on and just wait for it...or don't...but all this fuss is annoying
It should be noted the price ticket is for a "WHIT" and not a "White" iPhone. Clearly this is some new product from Apple. I mean at $599.99 it's a steal.

Apparently you don't understand SARCASM.

In regards to the white iPhone 4, I've been holding out for one of these since the beginning. I will be buying one to upgrade my 3GS. I expect Apple to do either a mild upgrade this summer with the iPhone 4, or no upgrade at all, so I feel safe buying a white iPhone 4 now.
If it really is coming soon, then I don't really understand what they're thinking. You'd think it's close enough to where they would have made it coincide with the Verizon release. Now you've got a bunch of AT&T *AND* Verizon customers who bought a black one when they wanted a white one, with the Verizon customers only having purchased their black ones shortly before the white ones came out.

February 07 2011 at 10:54 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWow, right when the iPhone "5" or whatever it is called is about to be reviled they will deliver the mythical white unicorn, i mean, white iPhone... Guess it's not their fault. Problems during manufacturing happened and Apple only wants to deliver the best quality products to it's customers. Guess they are looking out for us :D
