Apple airs new 'Retina' iPhone 4 commercial
Apple has released another commercial in the "If you don't have an iPhone" series of ads. This commercial, titled "Retina," shows off the Retina Display on the iPhone 4. The ad cycles through the Photos, iPod (movies), Maps, and Mail apps. The latest ad comes just one day afterApple released an iPhone 4 ad showcasing Game Center. Apple seems to release iPhone ads in groups of twos or threes, so it's likely that another one may hit the airwaves soon.

I think, therefore I am?
Deductive logic: works every time on so many levels.
"If you don't have an iPhone, well, you don't have an iPhone." lol That's a real creative line there. I do love the retina display though. I don't think I could go back to a lower pixel density.

All the other phones are generic and you really cant tell which phone you are looking at until you get up really close. Is that HTC running Win Phone 7? Android? Which version of Android? Oh? It is not a HTC it's a Samsung.
See?
I have an iPhone and I don't have a the retina display! now what?!
March 26 2011 at 9:14 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyClearly these ads are intended for potential customers who don't already own iPhones. They're trying to sell the iPhone to those people. If those people were to buy an iPhone today, they would likely get an iPhone 4 (really, is anyone buying the 3GS anymore?) which would include a Retina display.
Also, the ad doesn't say, "If you do have an iPhone, you do have a Retina display." It's a fact that if you don't have an iPhone, you don't have a Retina display. Can you blame them for stating a fact?
Apple probably shot themselves a little bit on the foot with this ad in regards to people with last gen iPhones.
