Rumor: White iPhone 4 to launch April 26th

This just in - Apple to release its one year old phone today with a magical and revolutionary new upgrade - it will now come in white.

Also in lesser news, People continue to suffer in the wake of the Japanese earthquake, unemployment in the US is on the rise, the war in the middle east continues its deadly course, and gas prices just went up another quarter.

Oh, but at least we can all have a phone in white.

looks real slick. I think a lot of people are forgetting the iPod was white at first. sure the douchebags came along and ruined all things white for the rest of us, but if you can get past that, it's a real classic looking iPhone.

Wow, a white phone ...what will Apple thing of next?

I'm sure the tens of people that have been holding out for a year to upgrade right before the next-generation unit is released are filling their parents' basement with laughter.

Apple has to be really psyched that they're finally going to wrangle in that .0000001% of the smartphone market share.

It will if nothing else be interesting to see it compared to the grey market prototype refits. I shattered the front glass and when getting it fixed opted to spend a trifle more for a full white refit.

It has this interesting effect where the light refracts and makes it look like there is an offset in the case but then you tilt it and it goes away.

I wanted the white when it was announced but there is no way I would get one so late in the piece.

As for the "who cares" everyone has a case anyway, well sure but rarely on the front and the white looks very striking, almost vapourous compared to the black.

Yay, a year old phone with a new case. Don't bother.

What a coincidence! That's the same day the oompa loompas are delivering my new unicorn! It should have been here weeks ago, but shipping from Mars is so slow!

Who the f*** care about a white iPhone??? This is f***ing ridiculous! Most iPhones that I see, including mine, have cases on them.
