Apple Store is down, most likely adding white iPhone

The online Apple Store is indeed down, most likely because of the addition of the white iPhone. The phone is now on sale internationally, so it makes sense for the store to go offline while the phone, and associated marketing, is added to the Apple Store. Thanks to all our awesome tipsters out there, and we'll let you know what changes are available when it's up!

No it doesn't make sense! Taking the entire store down just to add one new product - albeit a new iPhone (colour). Is just crazy and no advert for Apple's web development skills. Of course they may have more updates, in which case i will have to eat my words. But as a response to this article, if it is just one product they are adding, having to take the store down to do so show they are distinctly lacking a proper edit and update publishing process.

I miss my white iPhone 3G. But other than color I love my iPhone 4. I really want to see one in person.
