VoxOx releases iPhone app

I wrote about VoxOx earlier this year when I saw the Mac app at CES, and the company has now released an iPhone version that replicates the company's call back service -- they'll connect two different voice lines to each other over your phone. The app can even accept SMS messages, pull off a 20-way conference call, and even take in faxes. There's a video demo of the app online, and it's a free download, though you'll need a VoxOx account to call out.

A few of the reviews on the app say there might be an issue with some incoming calls, but given that it's a brand new release, there may be a few hiccups that need to be fixed in future releases. That said, if you're a user of the VoxOx service, this app is a no-brainer, and even if you're not, but still looking for an all-in-one communication solution, it might be worth a look.

Hi James sorry you're having trouble! Since we just launched and it's the weekend, our support responses may be just a bit slower. However, we did contact you on Twitter earlier today to get more information on what you're reporting. Could you please DM us on Twitter (@VoxOx) with your username and we'll address your concerns. We'd like to investigate this issue further to assess whether this is isolated to certain accounts or a more widespread issue. Would love to get your help in troubleshooting this and should you require a refund we can certainly get that addressed as well.

Urbz I two issues and sent them emails via their only form. The problem was fixed and credit was received within an hour of submission. So far this product is far superior to GoogleVoice.

Thank you!!!!

Hi bob.

When I attempt to send an international SMS, I've discovered that it truncates the country code entirely.

Mind you this is software that advertises that it has this functionality. So this is software that has a fantastically bad bug and somehow made it completely through the testing process with no one bothering to send an international SMS message or phone call (massive incompetence) or they knew about the problem and released the software and are hiding the issues (fraud). Either way I am getting billed for something that doesn't work and after almost 24 hours no one from tech support has contacted me. Honestly I don't like having my time wasted.

Wow... I didn't try that yet. I would email them at helpdesk@voxox.com or send them a private message via FaceBook at https://www.facebook.com/voxox I have a friend in Venezuela with a mobile number. As soon as I get it we will test the international SMS feature....

Amazing! Call cannot be completed but it still debits my account. Truly a joke. Not even a phone number or support number anywhere on website. Avoid like plague.
